Welcome, everyone, to the seventh edition of SKOG™ – the epic Scandinavian Adventure Rider meetup.

Since we packed up after four delightful days in May 2025, we’ve made some changes to our camp organization that we believe you’ll appreciate.

This year, we’re thrilled to have some familiar faces join us. Pål Anders Ullevålseter, a renowned off-road instructor from Norway, will be teaching those eager to improve their skills. Eglé Gerulaityté, a passionate adventurer from Lithuania, will share her captivating stories from her thrilling rides in South America. She’ll also be promoting her efforts in preserving Ukraine’s freedom and independence. As we celebrate friendship and the arrival of a new season, these important issues should remain at the forefront of our minds.

Elving Solli, one of Scandinavia’s most celebrated adventure riders, has dedicated over 50 years to guiding visiting riders across our countries, writing articles, creating TET routes, and generously sharing his knowledge and wisdom. In recognition of his contributions, we are delighted to announce that Elving will be our guest of honor in 2026.

We’re also thrilled to introduce you to Doctor Theresa Emmerich. You may recall her remarkable journey on the American version of Alone, where she endured an incredible 69 days in the British Columbian wilderness. And our most important guest… you! Whether you’ve been with us before or this is your first year at SKOG™, we can’t wait to see you!

Eglė Gerulaityté

In 2013 while backpacking in Peru, Egle learned to ride a bike with the help of a passing rider. She bought a 150cc bike in Nazca and took off to ride South America for two years, covering the Peru-Tierra del Fuego-Colombia route with little clue, no experience, and no gear. Hopelessly hooked on adventure riding and South America since, Egle returned there a few years later to travel the continent on her DR650, lead motorcycle tours, and chase the Dakar Rally up close and personal.

Recently, Eglé has dedicated herself to supporting the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom. She has joined the Lithuanian Armed Forces Volunteer Corps and has crossed the Ukrainian border on a regular basis, bringing cars, trucks, and supplies to the troops. She will ride to SKOG™26, where she will ride with us and, of course, tell her stories.

Theresa Emmerich Kamper

Doctor Theresa Emmerich Kamper was one of the contenders in the American series “Alone”, season 8. She says: “It was one of the most incredible and challenging experiences of my life, pushing me far out of my comfort zone and testing my problem-solving skills to their limits. Living in the unforgiving wilderness, relying solely on my skills and resilience was both humbling and exhilarating. Beyond the survival aspect, though, the show is a deep dive into the human spirit – the strength we find within when stripped bare of our social support network. It’s about the quiet moments of connection with nature, the mental fortitude required to keep going, and the profound self-discovery that comes from being utterly alone. It’s a journey I’ll never forget!”

Meet her at SKOG™26.
