The Way
We Camp

external-file_edited.png

Food, Fire and Friendships

After long days along winding tracks or building skill in the gravel pit, we gather around good food, a beer or two, talks by the bonfire, perhaps with a guitar. Together, or in small groups we relive the day, share thoughts and laughter. And become friends.

Bring Your Best Self

The atmosphere in camp is crucial for having a good event together. We value being together in an inclusive, helpful and respectful manner. And we rarely experience otherwise.

If you are in doubt we urge you to read our Code of Conduct to align expectations to The SKOG™ Way.

Don't Be Shy, Be Comfortable

Typically talks and workshops are facilitated in camp. The location and form may vary, but be certain that you will always find relevant information in the given program.

TIP: It is smart to bring your own chair and a drink to the longer presentations.

Sleep Tight

For the most part, we camp in an area where we have space enough to get rest – in a hammock or tent, under the starry sky or in the back of your own truck. You decide what becomes you the best.

First come first served. You know the ideal spots get claimed first. But don't worry. There is always a great spot waiting for you.

TIP: On cold nights it is a welcoming heater to fill a water bottle with really hot water, put it inside a sock to avoid skin burn and bring it along in the sleeping bag. Game changer!
